Most Improved Congratulations to Cathe Correia who was named as our club's Most Improved Golfer at our luncheon in December. Cathe's handicap went from 22.0 to 12.4! Very impressive! WWGC Takes Top Honors in the Redwood Area 2011 Team Competition The women who represented our club at the Redwood Area Play Days throughout 2011 played well and WWGC took first place in the Team Competition. Our club members did well on an individual basis too: Carol Bade won the Gold Medallion for low gross points; Jerry Moreno won the second place medallion; and Kay Robinson won the third place medallion. The last play day at San Geronimo was also a winning day for Windsor. Carol was low gross and Betsy Coxon low net for the field. Kay Robinson, Jerry Moreno, Nancy Dempsey and Toni Kastanis all placed in their flights. Participate in the play days in 2012! They are a lot of fun! WWGC Annual Awards Luncheon 42 members attended our Christmas luncheon at La Gare. Activities included the installation of the 2012 board and acknowledgement of the winners of the major 2011 tournaments, as well as the announcement for the Most Improved Golfer (see above) and the Thursday Birdie Tree winners (1st Flight, Kay Robinson, 19; 2nd Flight, Linda Walsh, 7; and 3rd Flight, Sally Jensen and Darlene Naslund, 4.
